Minerals Species: Liddicoatite Tourmaline.
Location of mineral deposit: Valozoro, Ambositra, Madagascar. (Type Locality for Liddicoatite) Click here to see other minerals from Type localities.
Description: Large polished slice of a transparent liddicoatite tourmaline crystal showing colorful internal zoning. The center is a gradated green to pink triangular zone surrounded by alternating green and pink zones. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 100x90x3 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 90 mm diameter.
Price: $4500 net (plus shipping).
