Minerals Species: Diamond (9.72 carat brown macle twinned crystal).
Location of mineral deposit: Guinea.
Description: Exceptionally large diamond crystal (15 mm on each edge!!!) with triangular shape due to Spinel-law twinning - a macle (= twin). The diamond has brown color around the edges and less color in the center. The faces are smooth with trigons in the middle. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 15x14x5 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 15 mm.
Price: $4200 net (plus shipping).
