Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 41226:

Minerals Species: Cerussite.
Location of mineral deposit: Wardner, Coeur d'Alene District, Shoshone County, Idaho.
Description: Complex cluster of elongated gray cerussite crystals colored by galena inclusions. The surfaces of the cerussite crystals are striated due to many parallel crystals bundled together that all reflect light simultaneously. The specimen formed in a cavity with many similar crystals intersecting in many directions resulting in few or no complete terminations. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #2548a; ex. Oren Root (1803-1885).
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x2x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-25 mm.
