Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 41247:

Minerals Species: Fluorite on Fluorite.
Location of mineral deposit: Middle Mountain, Carroll County, New Hampshire.
Description: Several generations of cubic fluorite crystals: the first was a layer of green and dark purple fluorite, then a 2 mm thick layer of gray fluorite, followed by small i mm cubic colorless fluorite crystals along the larger crystal edges. Unusual locality. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few edges show minute nicks upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen. Collected ca. 1985-90.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 9x7x6 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-40 mm.
Price: $175 (plus shipping).
