Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 41257:

Minerals Species: Quartz var. Amethyst.
Location of mineral deposit: Deer Hill, Stow, Oxford County, Maine.
Description: Doubly-terminated transparent medium-purple amethyst quartz crystal fully crystallized all around and a milky quartz crystal included in the bottom. The crystal faces are clean and glassy. The termination chip has a few tiny chips on the edge. Collected in late 1967 at the original find.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x4.5x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-6 cm.
Price: $150 (plus shipping).
