Minerals Species: Diamond (2.51 carat brown octahedral crystal).
Location of mineral deposit: Argyle Mine, Kimberley, Western Australia, Australia.
Description: Transparent brown natural diamond crystal with octahedral crystal form and satin-like surface luster on the crystal faces. Internally there are a few inclusions and flaws, but the satin texture makes them hard to see. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 9x7x6 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 9 mm.
