Minerals Species: Elbaite Tourmaline with Albite.
Location of mineral deposit: Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Description: Terminated bi-colored elbaite tourmaline crystal with minor white albite attached on one side. The elbaite crystal has a transparent colorless layer over a translucent zone and a opaque black lower zone. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4.5x3x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 35 mm.
Price: $175 (plus shipping).
