Minerals Species: Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: Tri-State Mine, Cardin, Ottawa County, Oklahoma.
Description: Translucent yellow calcite crystal with smaller colorless calcite crystals on the base. The calcite is twinned on the C-axis, with reentrant faces indicating the twin plane on the lower third of the large crystal. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, minute edge chipping is visible under 20x magnification. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #2209; ex. Ralph Holmes.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x6x4.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-60 mm.
Price: $75 (plus shipping).
