Minerals Species: Tetrahedrite.
Location of mineral deposit: Cavnic (Kapnik), Maramures, Romania.
Description: Sharp, well crystallized metallic tetrahedrite crystals up to 9 mm across in contrasting white calcite matrix with minor yellow metallic pyrite crystals up to 1 mm. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few edges show minute nicks upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 9x8x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-9 mm.
Price: $195 (plus shipping).
