Minerals Species: Uvite Tourmaline.
Location of mineral deposit: Bower Power's Farm, Pierrepont, St. Lawrence County, New York.
Description: Several groups of lustrous black uvite tourmaline crystals up to 20 mm across with limonite-stained quartz crystals up to 8 mm long on the rear and bronze-colored phlogopite mica. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x6x5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-20 mm.
Price: $40 (plus shipping).
