Minerals Species: Elbaite Tourmaline.
Location of mineral deposit: Himalaya Mine, Mesa Grande District, San Diego County, California.
Description: Doubly-terminated bi-colored elbaite tourmaline crystal with flat pinacoid termination and secondary edges faces. Most of the tourmaline crystal is translucent pink but the upper termination zone is intense green color. No damage to the crystals on the front of the specimen, but the rear shows minor damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 24x20x20 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 20 mm.
Price: $225 (plus shipping).
