Minerals Species: Rhodochrosite on Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Silverton Mining District, San Juan County, Colorado.
Description: Flattened rhombohedral pink rhodochrosite crystals up to 5 mm across on matrix coated with colorless quartz crystals up to 1 mm long No damage. Ex. Robert C. Lambert #97; acquired in 1975.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 9x5x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-5 mm.
Price: $250 (plus shipping).
