Minerals Species: Calcite (twinned crystals).
Location of mineral deposit: Leiping, Hunan, China.
Description: Many transparent colorless scalenohedral calcite crystals on all sides of matrix with some crystals colored red-brown due to hematite inclusions. A large V-twinned pair of crystals is in the top center of the specimen. No damage. Ex. Robert C. Lambert #506; acquired in 1998.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x3.5x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-28 mm.
Price: $95 (plus shipping).
