Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 41993:

Minerals Species: Copper with Malachite.
Location of mineral deposit: Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia.
Description: Arborescent formation of metallic native copper crystals up to 10 mm long with rounded coatings of velvet-like green malachite crystals. The malachite coats about half of the copper. The specimen is mounted to an acrylic display base. No damage. Ex. Robert C. Lambert #490; ex. Bruce Museum (Stamford, Ct.) in 1990.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x2x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 0.2-10.0 mm.
Price: $150 (plus shipping).
