Minerals Species: Scheelite.
Location of mineral deposit: Pingwu, Sichuan, China.
Description: Octahedral translucent orange-brown scheelite crystal with no matrix attached. The scheelite fluoresces bright white under UV illumination. The surfaces of the scheelite are composed of smaller parallel crystal faces. Scattered damage to the crystal edges throughout. Ex. Robert C. Lambert #366; acquired in 1995.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5.5x5x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 5 cm.
