Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 42132:

Minerals Species: Dioptase on Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia.
Description: Lustrous emerald-green dioptase crystals up to 13 mm across on colorless translucent calcite crystals up to 3 mm with spherical brown goethite microcrystals in the calcite. The dioptase varies from transparent to translucent. A choice specimen. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Robert C. Lambert #434; acquired in 1998.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x4x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-13 mm.
Price: $1250 net (plus shipping).
