Minerals Species: Silver and Barite.
Location of mineral deposit: Molly Gibson Mine, Aspen, Pitkin County, Colorado.
Description: Wire crystals of native silver up to 6 mm long intergrown with bladed transparent colorless barite crystals. The silver has a dark tarnish that could be removed with cleaning. The specimen is mounted in an acrylic Perky-style display box for protection. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 11x5x4 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-6 mm.
Price: $75 (plus shipping).
