Minerals Species: Diamond (1.05 carat gem-grade pale-brown elongated complex crystal).
Location of mineral deposit: Ippy, northeast of Banghi (Bangui), Central African Republic.
Description: Gem-grade flawless crystal of pale-brown natural uncut diamond with unusual elongated dodecahedral crystal form with smooth, lustrous crystal faces. Internally there are no flaws or fractures but there is a group of tiny gray inclusion (VS2). Gorgeous! No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x5x4 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 6 mm.
