Minerals Species: Quartz pseudomorph after Barite.
Location of mineral deposit: Rochester Claim, San Juan County, Colorado.
Description: Rectangular milky quartz pseudomorph (epimorph) after a bladed barite crystal. The central cavity where the barite crystal was is visible on the bottom where it is now filled with calcite. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x2x1 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-3 mm.
Price: $28 (plus shipping).
