Minerals Species: Piemontite-(Pb-La) and Tilasite.
Location of mineral deposit: Jancev Hill, 20 km northwest of Nezilovo, Jakupica Mountain, Yeles, Macedonia. (This is the Type Locality for the mineral *) Click here to see other minerals from Type localities.
Description: Elongated translucent pink piemontite crystals up to 3 mm long on colorless tilasite crystals up to 1 mm. The piemontite tested high in Pb and La. The tilasite fluoresces orange under UV illumination. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 28x25x14 mm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 3 mm.
