Minerals Species: Rhodochrosite and Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Sunnyside Mine, Silverton District, San Juan County, Colorado.
Description: Translucent rhombohedral orange-pink rhodochrosite crystals to 8 mm across with sprays of milky quartz crystals to 10 mm long on sulfide (pyrite, sphalerite, tetrahedrite) and quartz matrix. The smaller rhodochrosite crystals are tan-colored. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 10x8x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 0.5-10.0 mm.
Price: $750 net (plus shipping).
