Minerals Species: Barite with Dolomite.
Location of mineral deposit: Sherman Tunnel, Leadville District, Lake County, Colorado.
Description: Large plate covered on face with golden barite crystals up to 10 mm across interspersed with blocky gray brecciated matrix plus a few colorless dolomite crystals up to 2 mm. The barite crystals are tabular rhombohedral form with glassy crystal faces. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 13.5x9x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-10 mm.
Price: $95 (plus shipping).
