Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 44008:

Minerals Species: Andradite Garnet.
Location of mineral deposit: Khugiani, Nangahar, Afghanistan.
Description: Translucent yellow-brown dodecahedral andradite garnet crystals up to 7.5 mm across on platy mica-like greenish clinochlore crystals up to 4 mm across with yellow-green epidote microcrystals. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x2.5x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 7.5 mm.
Price: $75 (plus shipping).
