Minerals Species: Orthoclase var. Adularia with Chlorite.
Location of mineral deposit: Grosstal, Kanton Uri, Switzerland.
Description: Glassy crystals of adularia-twinned orthoclase crystals up to 40 m across with select faces coated with green chlorite microcrystals. The orthoclase is colorless, translucent, and lustrous crystal faces. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x4x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 40 mm.
