Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 44151:

Minerals Species: Rhodochrosite on Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Sweet Home Mine, Buckskin Gulch, Alma District, Park County, Colorado.
Description: Transparent-to-translucent bright pink rhombohedral rhodochrosite crystals intergrown with small milky quartz crystals. This specimen was restored by Collectors Edge after it was extracted in two pieces. The restoration is visible on the rear. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few edges show minute nicks upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x7x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-16 mm.
Price: $2750 net (plus shipping).
