Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 44190:

Minerals Species: Rhodochrosite with Pyrite.
Location of mineral deposit: Wudong Mine, Liubao, Guangxi Zhuang A.R., China.
Description: Rich specimen of translucent pink rhombohedral rhodochrosite crystals up to 13 mm with yellow metallic pyrite crystals to 3 mm. The rhodochrosite crystals have whitish subsurface inclusions and partial overgrowth of quartz microcrystals in areas. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7.5x6x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-13 mm.
Price: $650 net (plus shipping).
