Minerals Species: Sphalerite (twinned crystals).
Location of mineral deposit: Logansport, Cass County, Indiana.
Description: Interpenetrant-twinned black sphalerite crystals fully crystallized on all faces with only a small 5 mm attachment point on the bottom corner. The crystal faces have complex crystallization patterns on the surfaces with a prominent twin plane visible. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #2715; originally acquired in 1980 from George Robinson.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x3.5x2.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 40 mm.
Price: $40 (plus shipping).
