Minerals Species: Grossular Garnet.
Location of mineral deposit: Vesper Peak, Snohomish County, Washington.
Description: Lustrous translucent brown grossular garnet crystals in parallel orientation that alter into massive grossular on the bottom. Scattered damage to the crystal edges throughout. Ex. Chas. W. Velte Jr. (1914-1987).
Overall size of mineral specimen: 3.5x3x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-15 mm.
Price: $75 (plus shipping).
