Minerals Species: Chloroxiphite in Mendipite* with Crednerite.
Location of mineral deposit: Shepton Mallet, Mendip Hills, Somerset, England. (This is the Type Locality for the mineral *) Click here to see other minerals from Type localities.
Description: Lath-like white mendipite crystals to 15 mm long with a thin vein of late-forming green chloroxiphite microcrystals with dark metallic crednerite running throughout the specimen. ex. Joseph J. Urban (1915-1997).
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5.5x4.5x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 15 mm.
Price: $150 (plus shipping).
