Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 45317:

Minerals Species: Calcite with Quartz and Prehnite.
Location of mineral deposit: Vermont.
Description: Large 42 mm translucent yellow rhombohedral calcite crystal in a cavity lined with lustrous colorless quartz crystals to 18 mm with minor areas of translucent pale-green prehnite crystals. The exact locality is unknown, the basalt matrix is unusual. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 13x11x11 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-42 mm.
Price: $40 (plus shipping).
