Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 45377:

Minerals Species: Andradite Garnet in Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Nightingale District, Pershing County, Nevada.
Description: Transparent-to-translucent deep red-brown andradite garnet crystals with lustrous, slightly striated crystal faces surrounded by contrasting milky quartz. The andradite has the best color and luster from this new find. All surfaces and edges are clean and undamaged, but one corner has a natural contact from another intersecting crystal (no longer present). Collected in 2009.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x4x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-18 mm.
Price: $175 (plus shipping).
