Minerals Species: Cassiterite.
Location of mineral deposit: Viloco Mine, Araca District, La Paz Department, Bolivia.
Description: Lustrous near-black cassiterite crystals up to 16 mm across with no matrix attached. The cassiterite shows internal translucency with strong rear illumination. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 28x20x17 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-16 mm.
Price: $45 (plus shipping).
