Minerals Species: Calcite (twinned crystals).
Location of mineral deposit: Sokolovskiy-Sarbaiskiy Mine, Rudnyy, Kustanay Oblast, Kazakhstan.
Description: Flawless yellow rhombohedral calcite crystals on plate of matrix. There are five individual calcite crystals that are all are interpenetrant twinned - this locality is famous for this classic formation. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few edges show minute nicks upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6.5x4x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 15-30 mm.
Price: $300 (plus shipping).
