Minerals Species: Chrysocolla with Quartz coating.
Location of mineral deposit: Twin Buttes Mine, south of Tucson, Pima County, Arizona.
Description: Thin crusts of botryoidal bluish-green chrysocolla with partial coating of sugar-like colorless translucent drusy quartz that shows the blue chrysocolla color underneath. No damage. Originally acquired in 1990 from the Lesnicks.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7.5x6x6 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 0.5 mm.
Price: $125 (plus shipping).
