Minerals Species: Pyrite and Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: Zacatecas, Mexico.
Description: Metallic yellow pyrite crystals to 1 mm nestled between sprays of translucent colorless scalenohedral calcite crystals to 5 mm. the contrast of the pyrite against the calcite is very attractive. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x5x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-5 mm.
Price: $38 (plus shipping).
