Minerals Species: Orpiment in Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: Shimen Mine, Hunan, China.
Description: Elongated transparent orange-brown orpiment crystals to 35 mm long in a milky scalenohedral calcite crystal 40 mm long. The orpiment crystals have lustrous, striated prism faces and show yellow color on cleaved surfaces.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x4x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-40 mm.
Price: $195 (plus shipping).
