Minerals Species: Datolite and Calcite on Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey.
Description: Superb lustrous green datolite crystal 15 mm across on colorless quartz crystals to 3 mm long with a large 18 mm translucent colorless pseudocubic calcite crystal with silky surface luster. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x3.5x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-18 mm.
Price: $125 (plus shipping).
