Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 45809:

Minerals Species: Topaz on Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Dassu, Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Baltistan, Northern Areas, Pakistan.
Description: Gemmy topaz crystal 22 mm high perched on the top of gray smoky quartz crystals up to 48 mm long on white albite matrix. The topaz crystal is transparent, pale sherry color with blocky crystal form with secondary edge faces. No damage. From my personal collection; originally acquired in 1998 from H. Obodda.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x7.5x7 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 22-48 mm.
Price: $2500 net (plus shipping).
