Minerals Species: Prehnite epimorph after Anhydrite with Calcite, Phillipsite.
Location of mineral deposit: McBride Avenue & Browertown Road Pumping Station, West Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey.
Description: Finger-shaped translucent green prehnite epimorph after a 30 mm anhydrite crystal with colorless translucent rhombohedral calcite crystals to 15 mm. The prehnite epimorph is hollow and there are phillipsite microcrystals visible inside. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Ken Hogan collection.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x4x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 15 mm.
Price: $75 (plus shipping).
