Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 45904:

Minerals Species: Gypsum var. Selenite Twinned Crystals.
Location of mineral deposit: Lake Gilles, Corunna Station, South Australia, Australia.
Description: Well formed transparent twinned selenite crystals with tapering brown phantom zone visible inside. The unusual, complex termination is caused by {110} twinning of two crystals. Fully crystallized on all surfaces with no point of attachment - a floater. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few edges show minute nicks upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x4x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 5.5 cm.
Price: $55 (plus shipping).
