Minerals Species: Smithsonite on Coronadite.
Location of mineral deposit: Proprietary Mine, Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia.
Description: Translucent colorless-to-pale green smithsonite in spherical crystal aggregates up to 4 mm diameter on all sides of stalactitic botryoidal black coronadite. The smithsonite crystals have silky surface luster the result of microscopic parallel faces. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 17x5.5x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-3 mm.
Price: $400 net (plus shipping).
