Minerals Species: Barrerite and Laumontite on Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Rocky Pass Area, Kuiu Island, Alaska.
Description: Lustrous white bladed barrerite crystals, a rare zeolite mineral, up to 18 mm crystallized all around a stalactitic quartz core with smaller prismatic white laumontite crystals up to 4 mm long. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 3.5x3.5x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-18 mm.
Price: $95 (plus shipping).
