Minerals Species: Calcite (twinned crystals).
Location of mineral deposit: Sokolovskiy-Sarbaiskiy Mine, Rudnyy, Kustanay Oblast, Russia.
Description: Transparent (internally flawless!) yellow rhombohedral calcite crystals penetration-twinned three places on the {00·1} planes with minor matrix attached on the bottom and one corner. Each calcite crystal is twinned to the adjacent calcite crystal. No damage. Ex. Robert C. Lambert #135; acquired in 1994.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6.5x4x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 20-35 mm.
Price: $400 net (plus shipping).
