Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 46119:

Minerals Species: Dioptase, Cuprite var. Chalcotrichite, Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: Christmas Mine, Banner District, Gila County, Arizona.
Description: Showy cluster of transparent green dioptase crystals to 1.5 mm on transparent colorless calcite crystals to 3 mm with lustrous red chalcotrichite crystals, the acicular (hair-like) variety of the mineral species cuprite, to 0.2 mm. Beautiful under 20X. No damage. From my personal collection, acquired in 1989 from Lesnicks.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x6x4.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 0.1-3.0 mm.
Price: $150 (plus shipping).
