Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 46166:

Minerals Species: Beryl var. Aquamarine with Muscovite.
Location of mineral deposit: Nagar, Hunza Valley, Gilgit District, Northern Areas, Pakistan.
Description: Transparent hexagonal aquamarine crystals, the blue gem variety of the mineral beryl, with an area of muscovite mica crystals on one side. The aquamarine crystals are prismatic form with basal pinacoid terminations modified by secondary edge faces. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few edges show minute nicks upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen. Ex. Bob Holzer (1934-2009) collection.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x4x2.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 4-40 mm.
Price: $225 (plus shipping).
