Minerals Species: Chrysocolla with Malachite.
Location of mineral deposit: L'Etoile du Congo Mine, Lubumbashi, Shaba Copper Belt, Democratic Republic of the Congo (Zaire).
Description: Hemishperical blue chrysocolla formations with matte, textured surfaces plus translucent green malachite crystals to 2 mm on the chrysocolla. No damage. Ex. Bob Holzer (1934-2009) collection.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 3.5x2.5x2.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-2 mm.
