Minerals Species: Quartz var. Smoky.
Location of mineral deposit: near Florissant, Teller County, Colorado.
Description: Tapered transparent dark-smoky quartz crystal with finely etched crystal faces and remnants of beige-colored feldspar matrix included on the rear. The termination of the crystal is chipped. Ex. Hugh Ford (1885-1966).
Overall size of mineral specimen: 9.5x2.5x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 95 mm.
Price: $40 (plus shipping).
