Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 46390:

Minerals Species: Almandine Garnet.
Location of mineral deposit: Ötztal, Tyrol, Austria.
Description: Foliated gray schist with lustrous red-brown dodecahedral almandine garnet crystals. The schist was carefully worked to expose the almandine garnet crystals without damage. Most likely this specimen originated at Granatenkogel Mountain. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear. From my personal collection.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 10x7x5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 3-20 mm.
Price: $350 (plus shipping).
