Minerals Species: Barite on Fluorite.
Location of mineral deposit: Minerva #1 Mine, Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois.
Description: Bladed white barite crystals to 1 mm in a beige-colored crust over transparent bi-colored cubic fluorite crystals to 36 mm across. The fluorite crystals are yellow with thin blue-purple outer zones. One corner on the top is chipped.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x7x7 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-36 mm.
Price: $125 (plus shipping).
