Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 72052:

Minerals Species: Pyrite.
Location of mineral deposit: Otjihase Mine, 18 km NE of Windhoek, Namibia.
Description: Lustrous yellow-metallic octahedral pyrite crystals remnants of earthy brown matrix on the rear. The pyrite crystals exhibit matrix-filled partial fractures due to post-crystallization deformation. A rare specimen from this obscure mine. Collected ca. 1990.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x4.5x2.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 6-28 mm
Price: $175 (plus shipping).
